New Recyclus MD, Matthew Taylor, outlines his vision for the Recyclus Group

Technology Minerals’ 49%-owned company, Recyclus, has appointed a new Managing Director in Matthew Taylor - a manufacturing veteran with spells at Nissan, Cummins, and Black & Decker. The attraction of Recyclus, he says, is that it is explicitly trying to reuse rather than start with new components, leaving a strong legacy for the next generation. Taylor has a simple concept at Recyclus, and that is to build an excellent facility and keep reusing that process every time.

Response to incident at Recyclus Group facility

At 12.08am on 2 October 2024, there was an isolated fire at Recyclus' LiBatt plant in Wolverhampton. Fire engines arrived promptly on the scene and the fire was quickly contained. The company's fire safety management protocols worked successfully as confirmed by the emergency services and the plant will reopen today after consultation with all the appropriate agencies.
