TM1 is pleased to announce that its 48.35% owned battery recycling business, Recyclus Group Ltd ("Recyclus"), has appointed Tony Walmsley as Operations Director. Tony has more than 30 years' experience in recycling, chemicals and engineering contracting sectors; designing, building, and operating diverse processes and manufacturing facilities. He has held senior positions in global corporations as well as leadership roles in business start-ups.

Response to incident at Recyclus Group facility

At 12.08am on 2 October 2024, there was an isolated fire at Recyclus' LiBatt plant in Wolverhampton. Fire engines arrived promptly on the scene and the fire was quickly contained. The company's fire safety management protocols worked successfully as confirmed by the emergency services and the plant will reopen today after consultation with all the appropriate agencies.
